60% of these kids growing up will suffer from nerve damage

Some of these kids will need Kidney transfers.

Are you the parent, brother, sister, aunt, uncle, or grandparent of one of these kids? Is this what you want them to look forward to? Do you want a better solution?

Maintaining a healthy diet and exercise are essential to preventing diabetes. Get the kids away from the T.V., Computer, or gaming system, and have them go out and play.
